A few days ago, I used the AI headshot service of HeadshotPro, where I paid $40. My goal today is to give honest feedback and also compare it with other similar AI headshot generators I’ve tried, so let’s get started!

The first thing to do is, head over to headshotpro.com. Once you are over there, select “Create Your Own Photo Shoot.” You will be able to see the options available for teams or individuals; I chose the individual option. 

I was elected for the professional plan, through which you can get 100 images instead of 40 which the basic plan does, as well as some editing credits.

Once I had confirmed my purchase, the next thing to be done was to upload a minimum of 15 clear selfies of myself.

The catch here is that these should be regular pictures, no hiding behind sunglasses, hats, nor should there be any other people in the shot.

 It can be quite time-consuming while you browse through your gallery to find the right photos!

Uploading Photos

Uploading the images, I noticed that the system rejects the very small ones, which is in fact great.

 It indeed guarantees that the AI has received the set of good pictures with a rich amount of information. 

Next, … I was done with styling, I moved to step 3 to fill in my name, age, and ethnicity as well as to put in my style choices. My options included public speaking, casual, and some suit styles.

Waiting for Results

Waiting is the most distressing part: I think so! I preferred to go to the gym during the AI process.

General Impressions

Quality-wise, I’d like to mention that HeadshotPro is probably one of the best AI headshot generative models among those I have used before.

I have to say that the tool can still have minor problems—like the subject’s fatigue in a couple of photos—most of them were really okay for sharing on social media. 

Approximately 95 images were going to be stored without any use, but 5 images were chosen to be my profile picture.

Comparing with Other Generators

So, let’s debate on HeadshotPro’s positioning among other similar items. My findings suggested that BetterPic and HeadshotsByAI are still a bit better than HeadshotPro in all aspects.

On the flip side, the authenticity of a HeadshotPro product becoming a whole new public speaking style is the thing that must be cherished the most.

Although BetterPic can be personalized, HeadshotPro’s AI-generated visuals are of the highest quality, most of the time, and its editing tools are not bad either since I could easily change the images’ last details.

So the most advanced headshot creator is HeadshotPro? In my opinion, I will put it as my third pick among the top. 

It’s really good, but still, there are two other brands that slightly surpass it.

Just know that the final photos may not look as good as you want and it all depends on the selfies you upload!
